Ben Rosenblatt – Senior Rehabilitation Scientist
I am currently the Senior Rehabilitation Scientist for the Intensive Rehab Unit of the British Olympic Medical Institute and English Institute of Sport. The purpose of the unit is to accelerate rehabilitation and my role is to provide bespoke strength and conditioning programmes for complicated injuries and provide objective measures of an athlete’s progression through rehabilitation. I also provide consultancy services and coaching support to national governing bodies and Olympic and professional athletes. Prior to this role I have was the Head of Science and Conditioning at a Premier League football club and have coached collegiate athletes in the USA. I am also currently undertaking a PhD in the biomechanical aspects of specificity in strength training. My coaching philosophy is to create an environment for an athlete or team to develop and excel by providing needs based support and coaching to the athlete, team, coach and their support team.
