    Right well in the absence of a plethora of posts on this forum, which we would like to start getting a little busier now, what are the predictions with regards to the Javelin competitions at next weeks World Championships?

    Lets go with top 3 plus distances for both the Men's and Women's events...

    What do people think about the sole British participant in the spear at the championships as well Goldie Sayers??

    WOW, just watched the womens final,
    if the mens is half as good as that then we are in for a treat.

    Good effort on the predictions Frank. Spoke to one of my South African friends the other day (he is good friends with Sunette) and I actually went for Andreas, Matthias and Guillermo for the medals. Got the correct three, but wrong order. All in all it was a slight anti climax compared to the womens event which was just sensational.

    Great performance by De Zordo though and well deserved. That will certainly send Andreas away with a little more food for thought before next year. He just couldn't seem to get it going.

    Any thoughts on committee positions Frank?
