Following my retirement I have the following available:
Javelins: (All in great condition, regularly waxed to maintain paint strength, not used very much, only the odd scratch, all look new) 1x Nemeth Club 85 (Bought for £550, yours for £400) - 2 months old, used only a handful of time 1x OTE Comp FX Tailwind (Bought for £765, yours for £500) - 9 months old, used only a few times 1x Nordic Airglider Steel (Bought for £860, yours for £700) - 2 months old, used once only
Equipment: 1x XL Nordic Thermopad Back Lumbago, only used 4 times (bought for £85, yours for £50) 1x Size 11 Adidas Adizero Javelin boots in green, worn only 4 times (bought for £72, yours for £40) 1x Adidas weight lifting belt in Large (bought for £30, yours for £15) as new, unused
I have also got some Javelins for sale on behalf of a friend. They are all 600g Javelins.
2 x Nordic Diana 80m rated. These are the ones with the bigger points on them (they are still new spec). They make them with the thinner points these days. They are in decent condition and are available at £200 each. Paint colour is yellow
3 x Nordic Diana 60m rated. Similar to the above but with the thinner point on them. Again they would make excellent training Javelins and are available at £150 each. Paint colour is orange
What kind of wax should I use to best maintain my son's javelin ? He's just got a Polanik 50m rated 600g javelin for Christmas, and wants it to last the next 18 months while he's an U15.
Hi there. In general any good wax polish is good. The main point of care is to make sure you don't get any on the grip, and if waxing with a spray on polish tape the grip with masking tape. Personally though I have always used AutoGlym High definition wax and it keeps the paintwork looking like new and gives the paintwork a protective layer. In general also try and keep the grip dry too, if it gets wet, let it dry before putting it in a tube or bag to prevent the grip fraying.
